The design process was a journey through various creative avenues. We explored numerous possibilities before finally landing on the perfect representation of Bottleist's unique spirit — a logo that strikes a balance between the nostalgic charm of 1970s Soviet Union storefront signage and the preferences of the modern consumer.

For the primary font, we chose the blocky, bold typeface Enthalpy 298, which mimics the key features of Soviet-era poster fonts. For the tagline, we opted for Sverdlovsk, a typeface with a thin stroke and sans-serif for easier readability.

Our color selection draws inspiration directly from the palette reminiscent of the Soviet Union era. The deep green is a nod to the iconic Soviet glassware, while the beige hue is reflective of the pages within the treasured Soviet encyclopedias. Finally, the stark black captures the essence of a Soviet champagne bottle label, rounding off the color palette.

The emblem is an additional element to the logo and conveys the essence of the brand. After several options, where we were choosing between a Soviet citizen, an alcohol bottle, or hops, we selected a symbol resembling the heraldry of Soviet alcohol. At its core are a bottle and hops, as the primary products of the store, and rays symbolizing a certain mystery that can be unraveled when visiting the Bottleist.

For a clear association of the store with beer products, we developed a hops emblem pattern. The pattern can be used both in packaging and in the design for social networks.
